Making the move from King Street to Mere Hall Farm – How and why did we make this move?
This year we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, we’ve been occupying office spaces in the heart of Knutsford for many years, so why move out of town?
Change is a very important part of the growth as a business. We’ve not only moved locations; we’ve also changed our habits and the way we work, adapting to the change in corporate climate over time.
Open plan space
The layout allows for social distancing, in light of the pandemic which we accept as a part of life. We are more connected and are communicating better as a team, as we find it easier to talk to each other through an open-plan space (rather than going up and down 3 flights of stairs or talking over telephone/zoom) we feel much more of a sense of comradery.
Cost-effective
For the same amount of square footage, in a different layout for less money, it means that we can invest and grow in different areas of the business, we also maintain the bespoke and fair costings for advice that we provide for our clients.
Change of scenery
We miss being in the heart of Knutsford town, but the air is so pure here in the countryside, we hear the birds chirping not cars honking. And as we know, breathing in pure air is so important for our health and well-being. We all appreciate that the lockdowns, working from home, and feeling isolated has taken its toll on everyone the last couple of years. To be in a beautiful clear space, in a rural setting, is refreshing, We have an outside area to have lunch or go for a walk.
It’s all about the people
When we were planning the best use of the space, we wanted everything to function as it should and look fantastic too. We were mindful of how enjoyable, safe and functional the space would be for our team members, and also welcoming our clients and connections for meetings.
